Nasal drops – Nasyam for Daily Treatment

Nasyam uses medicated oils or herbal juices to remove toxins and waste that has accumulated in the nasal cavity. In this Ayurvedic daily treatment, 2-4 drops of warm sesame oil are administered through each nostril in the morning following self massage. This practice helps to lubricate the nose, clean the sinuses, and improve the voice, vision, and mental clarity. Ayurveda believes that the nose is the door to the brain such that nasal drops serves to nourish prana and promote sharp intelligence (Buddhi). Therapeutic Nasya enhances the proper functioning of the sense organs and protects a person from diseases of the eyes, nose, and throat. It is also known to amplify healthy lustrous hair growth when regularly administered.
